# UpScalp Watchlist, HOT, and COLD Signals

Use this guide when you see HOT, COLD, `/watch`, HOT Only, or Block COLD in the UpScalp Premium bot.

These labels help you understand recent signal context before deciding whether a setup still fits your rules.

## Quick meaning

| Term       | Plain meaning                                                             |
| ---------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| HOT        | A setup or symbol is showing stronger recent outcome context.             |
| COLD       | A setup or symbol is showing weaker recent outcome context.               |
| Watchlist  | A list of COLD symbols the bot is currently flagging for extra caution.   |
| HOT Only   | A Premium setting that limits your feed to currently HOT strategy setups. |
| Block COLD | A Premium setting that filters out COLD strategy or symbol signals.       |

## What the COLD watchlist shows

Use `/watch` in the Premium bot to see the current COLD watchlist.

The COLD watchlist shows symbols with repeated recent completed signals ending as losses. When the list is empty, the bot tells you the COLD watchlist is empty.

If symbols are on the list, the bot shows the largest current loss streaks first, with the number of recent losses shown beside each symbol.

## Where HOT and COLD can appear

HOT and COLD context can appear in three places:

1. On signal messages, where the bot may show HOT or COLD context for the pair or strategy.
2. In `/watch`, where the bot shows the current COLD watchlist.
3. In `/settings`, where you can turn on HOT Only, Block COLD, or Watchlist notifications.

## How to use COLD context

COLD means the recent outcome context is weaker and deserves caution.

If a symbol appears on the COLD watchlist, slow down and re-check the full setup before taking risk. Look at the signal quality, entry distance, SL, TP, market context, volatility state, and whether the move has already happened.

If you want the bot to filter COLD signals out of your Premium feed, open `/settings` and turn on Block COLD.

Block COLD filters out signals where the strategy or symbol is currently marked COLD.

## How to use HOT context

HOT means the recent outcome context is stronger.

HOT is a context label. A HOT setup still needs a valid entry, defined SL, sensible position size, and current market context that still supports the trade.

If you want a stricter Premium feed, open `/settings` and turn on HOT Only.

HOT Only limits your Premium feed to strategy setups currently marked HOT. This can reduce the number of signals you receive.

## Watchlist notifications

The Watchlist notification toggle controls whether the Premium bot sends watchlist updates when available.

Open `/settings` to turn Watchlist notifications on or off.

You can still use `/watch` to check the current COLD watchlist manually.

## Practical checklist

Before acting on a signal with HOT or COLD context, check:

1. Is the signal still close enough to entry?
2. Is the SL acceptable for your risk plan?
3. Is the TP realistic from the current price?
4. Does the market context still support the direction?
5. Is the symbol on the COLD watchlist?
6. Have you turned on any filters that may hide similar signals?

## When to contact support

Contact support if:

1. `/watch` does not respond.
2. The Watchlist notification setting does not save.
3. HOT Only or Block COLD appears to stay on or off after you change it.
4. A signal appears in your feed even though you expected it to be filtered.

Include your Telegram username, plan, UTC timestamp, the command or setting used, and a screenshot of the bot response.
