# UpScalp Get Started Guide for Lite and Premium Users

Get set up, understand the signal fields, and decide your risk before the first trade. The goal is not to take the first signal. The goal is to know when the next signal is worth skipping.

## What complete setup looks like

Setup is complete only when each item below is true:

| Check | Complete when |
| -------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Official route | The website, Telegram bot, and announcement channel match the official links page. |
| Plan | Lite, Premium, or approved Private Beta is chosen based on how you currently trade. |
| Telegram delivery | Alerts are visible, notifications are enabled, and test messages are not muted. |
| Signal understanding | You can explain entry, SL, TP, direction, and context before opening the exchange. |
| Risk rule | Maximum loss is written down before the signal arrives. |
| Stop point | You know which failed check makes you wait for the next signal. |

## The shortest safe path

Do these in order:

1. Start from the official links page before joining any Telegram destination.
2. Choose Lite or Premium based on how you currently trade.
3. Complete Telegram setup and confirm notifications work.
4. Read one signal from top to bottom before placing any trade.
5. Decide your maximum loss before the first entry.
6. Skip the first signal if the setup has already moved or the stop loss does not fit your risk.

If any step is unclear, stop there and use the linked guide before moving on.

## Choose the right plan first

| Plan | Use it when | First action |
| ---------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Lite | You want the simplest signal format while learning the process. | Set up the Lite bot and learn the signal fields. |
| Premium | You already follow a written risk process and want richer context. | Check the current Premium access requirement, then complete verification. |
| Private Beta API | You are an eligible Premium Holder and have been approved for beta access. | Use the Access Bot first; do not assume API access until approved. |

Start with Lite if you are unsure. A simpler routine is easier to stick with than a complex one you cannot keep up with.

## Set up Telegram without trusting random links

Use only official destinations:

1. Announcements: `https://t.me/upscalpannouncements`
2. Lite bot: `https://t.me/UpScalpLite_bot`
3. Premium access bot: `https://t.me/upscalp_access_bot`

Before clicking a link from search, a DM, or another group, compare it against the official links page. UpScalp support will not ask for seed phrases, private keys, exchange passwords, or API secrets in Telegram DMs.

## What to understand before the first signal

Every signal needs the same basic read:

1. **Symbol:** the market you are checking.
2. **Direction:** long or short.
3. **Entry zone:** the price area where the idea is still valid.
4. **Stop loss:** the price that invalidates the trade.
5. **Take profit levels:** the planned exit areas.
6. **Context:** the reason the setup is worth considering.

The signal is not an instruction to enter at any price. It is a setup to judge.

## Your first-signal decision rule

When the next signal arrives, ask these five questions before opening the exchange:

1. Is the current price still inside or close to the entry zone?
2. Is the stop-loss distance small enough for the amount you are willing to lose?
3. Do the take-profit levels give enough room after fees and slippage?
4. Does the context still match the market you are looking at now?
5. Will you skip the trade if one answer is no?

Take the trade only if the setup still fits your rules. Otherwise, wait for the next signal.

## Skip the first signal until these checks pass

Wait for the next signal instead of trading if any of these are true:

1. The Telegram message came from a channel or bot that is not listed on the official links page.
2. The current market price is no longer inside or near the signal's entry zone.
3. The distance from entry to stop loss is larger than the amount you already decided you can lose.
4. You cannot explain why the setup is long or short without rereading the signal.
5. You are entering mainly because the previous trade lost money.

Skipping a poor setup is the right call.

## What Premium and beta access need from you

Premium access currently uses token-gated verification. Follow the Premium verification page and wait for confirmation before expecting Premium delivery.

Private Beta API access is approval-only for eligible Premium Holders. Use the Access Bot first and treat approval as required before relying on any API behavior. Do not create exchange API keys before approval, and never enable withdrawal permissions for any exchange connection.

## If something does not work

| Problem | Go here |

## First-session stop points

Pause setup and use the linked guide if:

1. A Telegram account, bot, or channel name does not exactly match the official links page.
2. Premium verification asks for anything outside the expected Access Bot prompts.
3. A signal arrives before you can explain the stop loss and maximum loss.
4. You feel pressure to create exchange API keys before approved beta access.
5. You are trying to recover a loss before completing the risk guide.

Stopping at the right point is part of safe onboarding.
